It is wonderful to hear all of your comments and my heart fills with joy to know how guide dogs are praised and respected. Our guides are our family and they protect us with their excellent guide work. WE love them and take care of all their needs, and in return they have help us to gain so much independence in the dark. Aerie has saved Shawn’s life twice. Once in the mall parking lot where the driver was zipping around and his attention was only focus on getting a parking spot. Aerie pulled Shawn out of the car’s way so hard that Shawn fell down and scraped his legs but he was safe. We and everyone around us was shocked . We had tears of gratitude and acknowledge that if it had not been for our precious guide dog Aerie, Shawn could of died. This Strengthen our bond, our love and our trust.
